Esskay, Inc Hiring for Telecom Field Tech II Job at Cincinnati, OH Full Time

Esskay Telecom Inc, an emerging Telecom solutions provider is currently seeking Telecom Field Technician to support Field Operations for major National Operator. You must have Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung OEM, Network Operations and Troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support new Integration projects, New Builds, Carrier Adds etc.
• Evaluate site alarms & troubleshooting cell site issues.
• Perform preventative Site Maintenance, Site Audits, Scans, Cell Site Routers etc.
• Replace Cell Site Equipment, perform Call testing, Route cables and assist in Build-outs.
• Ability to visit Cell Sites, work to Service Tickets and update in resolutions.
• Ability to check various Performance & Reporting tools.
• Manage Vendors (Tower, Electric, Generator, HVAC etc)
• Attend calls and communicate with other techs and management on daily basis.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience performing Cell Site Repair and Troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cell Site (LTE, 5G) Commissioning & Integration.
• Must have experience with Nokia or Ericsson RAN Equipment.
• Understanding radio access networks, backhaul to sites, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services
• Able to configure change IP addresses, basic understanding of cell site router commands etc.
• Ability to understand network communication and basic flow diagrams
• Understanding of network design, capacity planning, power systems AC/DC, fiber, cables and grounding.
• Must meet Field/RF Safety Standards. (OSHA)
• Must be willing to work on network outages and open to nights and weekends work if needed.
• Must be able to work in changing climate conditions and able to lift over 50lbs
