Position Title: Learning & Development Specialist Department: L & D
Reports To: Manager, Learning & Development FLSA Status: Exempt
Purpose
The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist is an essential member of the Learning & Development team, capable of a diverse and varied workload to support all learning functions within the organization, and specifically is responsible for the ongoing development of the clinical operations staff. Partnering with the Vice President of L&D and reporting to the L&D Manager, the L&D Specialist duties will include: supporting the onboarding of new employees into the organization, instructional design and development of learning curriculum for virtual classroom and eLearning platforms, coaching of Specialists, supervising and providing administrative support to Specialists during onboarding, facilitation of virtual classroom based trainings, integration of quality data to inform best practices in learning, assisting with the expansion of the eLearnings, supporting the ACP Certification and professional development program, among other projects that may arise to meet the needs of the organization and the overall mission. The L&D Specialist requires a broad set of experience, capabilities, and knowledge unique to Vital Decisions core products, clinical workforce development, as well as broader learning and development functions.
