The Human Resources Director is focused on providing support to and developing Exceed staff, while working to create systems and structures that successfully recruit, onboard, and train staff members. The ideal applicant brings an understanding of systems and structures to support the growth of the organization from a human resources, people, and culture perspective.

JOB SCOPE
The Human Resources Director reports to the CEO. Exceed Enterprises values the important role of Human Resources in supporting the staff that support our clients. The Human Resources Director is expected to work across the company, focusing on matters related to people and culture, championing our mission of: “Supporting individuals with diverse abilities their vision is our mission.”
The Human Resources Director is responsible for making decisions that determine the HR strategy at Exceed and that create the systems that contribute to hiring, compensation, and performance decisions. The person in this role is primarily responsible for ensuring Exceed follows federal, state, and local laws governing workforces.
The person in this role continuously works with sensitive employee information and data and must maintain confidentiality.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The Human Resources Director supervises the Payroll and Benefits Specialist and Recruiting and Training Development Specialist.
INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS
The HR Director communicates extensively across the organization, especially with the recruitment team and management team. The person in this position also communicates externally with vendors, local colleges and universities, and other professional organizations to support networking, sourcing, and maintenance of Exceed’ s HR practice aligned with industry best practices.
