If you excel in installation of plant materials, grading, mulching, and leading a crew, we need you. We are seeking highly skilled, no-nonsense experienced Landscape Installation Foreman’s to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Direct and motivate a crew of 3-5 laborers, organize and coordinate work orders, and manage day to day operations of all contracted work to be performed on an assigned site.
- Areas of supervision include landscape, installation, management of subcontractors and performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specs and perform the site layout tasks needed to execute the project.
- Install all plant material using proper horticultural practices.
- Ability to operate machinery and take proper care of equipment.
- Meet production goals and work in a cooperative environment with co-workers, foremen and managers and understand and meet the production and qualitative standards set by the company.
- Driving truck and trailer.
- Filling out and complete paperwork properly for billing – monitor job costs and strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.
- Customer relations
Requirements:
- Valid CT Driver’s License with clean record. CDL preferred.
- 5 years landscape/horticulture experience.
- 5 years landscape foreman.
- Truck, trailer, equipment operation/management.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more daily.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Pass drug screening and background check.
Additional Helpful skills:
- Irrigation knowledge
- Operation of a skid steer and compact skid steer
- CLP/CH/hydraulic license
- English/Spanish
