Responsibilities:
Serves as the initial point of contact for the practice/region for all Clinical Staffing transactions and initiates appropriate notifications and steps as required for successful provider integration
Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with each Provider throughout the onboarding process, by serving as the single point of contact and providing a detailed overview of the steps, timeline and required documents, signatures and tasks
Coordinates between the Provider and the organization/practice, and ensures compliance and a successful integration
Designs and develops day to day solutions by providing expert counsel and accurate/timely information to the business
Reviews and monitors the onboarding timeline and tracks the provider status to ensure onboarding steps are coordinated and appropriately communicated to all departments within the committed timeframe
Expedites all incoming questions/problems generated by the Provider in the onboarding process
Investigates and attempts resolution of communication or process issues affecting the onboarding of the provider or the requirements of the applicable departments
Establishes provider start date through review and analysis of critical data including but not limited to financial billing of the practice, required facility lists and plan enrollment
Collects, reviews, and analyzes status updates from each department
Identifies, recommends and implements onboarding process changes as opportunities for improvement.
Providers cumulative status reports to the Medical Director and Director of Operations on all components of the onboarding process
Updates appropriate systems to ensure proper tracking, reporting and communication
Closes out all components of the new hire integration including but not limited to reimbursement of onboarding expenses, processing of sign and relocation and outlined in executed contract, submission of final hire paperwork and confirmation of completion of compliance training
Provides benefit orientation and reviews new hire packet on all new providers
Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Travel and attend off-site meetings or training if requested
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in credentialing and/or Physician and provider onboarding
Demonstrates and maintains knowledge of FQHC regulations and other federal and state laws that govern credentialing
