Responsibilities/Job Description:

• Under the direction of System Executive Director, designs and oversees implementation of the talent agenda to execute business strategy.
• Under the direction of System Executive Director, Leads strategic and organization design consulting efforts and effectiveness strategies and initiatives in assigned areas. Leads assigned HR Strategists in design of programs and implementation tactics for the following core areas:

• With quality and patient experience as central drivers, provides oversight of business entity’s engagement strategies to increase productivity, employee performance and satisfaction. Utilizes annual surveys, climate assessments, and metrics for measurement.
• Designs and implements innovative retention strategies.

• Connects recruitment strategy and employment brand with organization culture. Utilizes workforce analytics to drive and influence strategy.
• Uses intimate understanding of the business to identify talent and organizational interventions that result in actions that improve talent decisions, business performance and facilitate organizational change.

• Design and oversight of on boarding activities to execute business strategy to increase productivity, drive culture and employee performance.

• Oversight of Wellness activities. Utilizes and coordinates with corporate HR resources talent for design and implementation.

• Identifies organizational needs; Oversight of Leadership Development Institutes/Academies program content and programming. Utilizes OD talent for design and implementation.
• Oversight of high-potential programs content and programming. Links to succession planning. Utilizes OD talent for design and implementation.
• Provides coaching and leadership development to executive levels.

• Sets direction and provides executive guidance on performance management. Ensure business results are aligned to performance ratings by advising at front end of process.
• Consults with leaders on goal development and alignment to ensure clear direction.
• Responsible for annual talent review process and succession planning. Ties programs and activities to further develop talent identified for future roles.

• Act as change agent for the business, design approaches and transformational processes. Position is responsible for identifying and driving innovation and change; inspires others to accept and promote outcomes.
• Part of matrix organization which involves extensive interaction and working relationships with key positions within Human Resources structure. Accountable for effective development and implementation of programs, practices and processes to meet business needs.
• Collaborates within matrix organization to apply sufficient HR resources to provide strategic talent solutions to the business.
• Represents the assigned areas of service to the HR community.

• Consults on high level, executive performance management, and employee relations matters.
• Partners with Labor Relations to develop and executive bargaining unit strategies and planning.

• Oversight of human capital planning, HR Analytics, and span of control.
• Identify trends and opportunities in order to make recommendations/take action based on findings.
• Uses data to develop insights on people issues that improve results.

• Responsible for managing resources, and FTE management for team.

• Responsible for direct management of a team of Strategists and/or Strategy Leaders.
• Responsible for cascading and translating organizational strategy to team to drive effectiveness and performance.
• Develops talent and ensures top performance for team.

• May lead major projects, committees, or critical business processes.
• Manages team of HR Strategists. Designs programs and best practices for the career progression and development of Strategists.
• This position reports to Vice President of Human Resources Strategy.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or progressive experience in Human Resources of 10 years

• Minimum of 5 years progressive Human Resources experience, with leadership experience in a complex organization with multiple employee groups. Healthcare experience or relevant industry experience.

• Masters degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.

• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
• Coaching certification
