Fauquier County Government Hiring for Airport Manager at Warrenton, VA Full Time

The Warrenton-Fauquier Airport is seeking an experienced Airport Manager. The Airport seeks to provide services consistent with State and Federal Guidelines, while meeting the needs of the County, its citizens, local businesses and visitors. The Airport serves as a reliever airport for Dulles and Washington International Airports.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Comprehensive knowledge of airport operation, maintenance, and safety precautions necessary in airport operations
– Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and local rules and regulations governing the use and operation of airports
– Thorough knowledge of the methods, materials and practices employed in building and grounds maintenance, including the maintenance of different types of paving and the proper drainage of land areas;
– Plan, supervise, and inspect the work of subordinates engaged in administrative, custodial, maintenance and public service tasks
– Ability to keep financial records, prepare reports, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agency officials, government officials, associates, tenants and the general public.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,886.40 – $125,497.22 per year
