The Recruiter is responsible for placing employees on temporary assignments, performing personnel-related duties, and providing clients with customer support.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Staffing Transactions
Receives , enters, and reviews client orders for staffing services. Anticipates client staffing needs.
Schedules employees for assignments.
Sends employee profiles to clients.
Reads and analyzes staffing reports.
Matches temporary healthcare employees to client needs.
Availability and Pump Calls
Obtains availability to work and preference for work assignments from employees. Matches ava ability against open orders.
Contacts clients to determine staffing needs, solicit orders, and informs clients about the availability of employees.
Client and Employee Relations
Establishes and maintains good working rapport with clients and employees ; resolves issues.
Confirms assignments with employees and clients. Notifies clients and employees of shift cancellations.
Communicates company-related information to current and prospective clients and employees.
Employee Screening and Personnel Recordkeeping
Screens potential applicants.
Processes job applicants.
Checks employee references and verifies license(s) and other credentials.
Enters new employee information into the computerized scheduling and internet profile systems.
Operations
Completes new client information and forwards to Payroll/Billing department.
Reviews weekly invoices and payroll reports for errors. Resolves payroll and billing problems.
Runs and analyzes daily transaction reports.
Attends meetings as scheduled.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service and human relations skills.
Knowledge of basic computer operation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under stressful conditions.
Qualifications:
A high school d iploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience. A related degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
