Job Summary:
The Dean of Undergraduate Nursing
will report directly to the Chief Academic Officer and Provost and has an indirect line of reporting/responsibility to the CEO. He/she acts
in the overarching role of the program administrator and will be responsible for managing day-to-day program operations; providing support
and supervision for the Assistant Deans/Program Directors of the LPN and RN programs; leading in the development of new and enhanced program
offerings; developing and expanding learning opportunities for students; promoting faculty development inclusive of quality teaching
practices, implementing university and program academic policies; addressing the needs of students and faculty; creating and maintaining
program databases and related reports; and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:1. Doctorate in Nursing 2. Prior
administrative experience in nursing education as a Dean, Assistant/Associate Dean; program director, or department chair in a postsecondary
educational institution preferred.3. Two years of FT or equivalent prior teaching and education experience in a postsecondary educational
institution.4. A minimum of 5 years of prior Nursing experience.5. Current unencumbered RN license in Ohio or ability to achieve/obtain.6.
Effective communication, collaboration, and team leader skills. 7. Commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and upholding the
College’s Mission.8. Ability to work on Campus in a traditional office setting; work remotely if necessary; travel to conferences and
meetings as warranted, and ability to work occasional “off” hours as needed.
The Dean of Nursing should possess and

people working together versus individual performance. Creative Thinker: Be a creative thinker with energy and enthusiasm, to create unique
ways to improve and/or create new opportunities for the College. Focus on Student Needs: Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of
students to meet or exceed their expectations within the educational environment. Organizational Skills: Set priorities, monitor progress
towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities. Plan: Determine strategies to move the College forward, set goals,
create and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results. Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes,
gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
