We are hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to provide excellent customer service to clients and carriers. This role reports directly to the office manager, they are the point of contact for inbound/outbound carriers and work in partnership with shift supervisors to ensure accurate reporting before each shift and at closing.

Do you…

• Have 2 years’ experience with line haul or logistics?
• Feel confortable in a warehouse environment as well as an office setting?
• Have excellent and proven time management skills?
• Work well in an independent environment and are self-motivated?
• Understand the importance of accurate and timely reporting?
• Have experience with dispatching or customer service?
• Bilingual; English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Job Duties And Responsibilities…

• Responsible for dispatching, scheduling and customer service experience in production or distribution environment.
• Acts as main point of contact with drivers and vendors.
• Assigns loads to forklift drivers and yard hostlers.
• Enters information into computer to compile work volume statistics for accounting purposes and keep records of customer service requests.
• Schedules inbound and outbound appointments, signs drivers in, and enters transactions in inventory software.
• Assist Office Manager with Reports, inventory control, and other duties as assigned.
• Reviews scheduled deliveries and alerts management when inventory levels are not at acceptable levels to meet customer needs.
