Company is looking for a social media/sales expert to power the next phase of our growth. We are looking for a teammate with strong digital marketing chops, analytical skills, and business acumen. You will work with our brew team and management to drive local sales tied to a structured digital marketing presence across owned, earned, and purchased media. In this capacity, you will assist the sales team by working with local accounts, meeting with buyers, incorporating account-level marketing, and representing FiftyFifty at events and festivals.

YOUR ROLE:

• Support sales with account visits, territory management, and working events/tastings

• Successfully manage commitments and perform follow-through on all aspects of your role

• Promote local beer sales though pub location(s), events, and key accounts

• Manage social media channels and grow online brand presence

• Create content that best represents the FiftyFifty brand/values

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES

• Call on existing key accounts to retain/develop existing distribution, secure new distribution, and introduce new and “limited release” beers into the market

• Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with account staff and distributor sales personnel

• Set the standard for follow-up and follow-through in every aspect of the role

• Travel to company meetings; participate in market blitzes in other territories, and work with other members of the team to execute/achieve the sales plan

• Complete necessary administrative reporting and communications on a timely basis

• Maintain all sales goals and personal budgets outlined to you and your territory

• Execute weekly promotions and periodic special events that generate brand awareness and consumer sampling, as well as new distribution at target accounts

• Other duties as periodically assigned by your manager

EVENTS

• Assist and run off-site events in the Lake Tahoe/Reno area.

• Transport beer, set up, break down, and clean pouring stations at events.

• Pour beer tastings while engaging and educating consumers at events.

• Assist with account promotions as needed

• Obtain ABC certification upon starting role and exercise ABC laws and guidelines at events

SOCIAL MEDIA

• Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities

• Develop relevant content topics to reach target consumers

• Create, curate, and manage all published content on all active social channels

• Monitor, listen and respond to users in a social way whole cultivating leads and sales

• Analyze key metrics and edit strategy as needed

• Derive actionable insights from social media metrics and marketing data

• Balance multiple priorities, launch dates, deadlines, etc.

• Establish an ownable social strategy approach that delivers content aligned with our marketing objectives

• A strong marketing manager, with experience creating targeted messages and products to create sales.

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree and prior experience in digital marketing with an emphasis in social media; prior sales experience preferred.

• Digital media skills- able to create relevant, creative content that is on-brand for FiftyFifty and engaging to audiences.

• Knowledge of FiftyFifty Brewing Co., and the local craft beer market.

• Strong oral and written communication – able to talk to others to convey information effectively

• Excellent time management – able to self-start and be proactive and responsive

• Decision making skills – able to collect, assess, interpret relevant information and make sound judgments and actions

• Negotiation skills – bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences

• Cicerone, or other Beer certification strongly preferred
