Brief Description:

The Contracts Admin will provide general administrative support to Sales and Marketing Managers in the Region. Primary responsibilities include reviewing tour sheets and resolving coding issues prior to invoicing, creating Contract breakdown sheets, working with Sales and Marketing Managers and Legal to assist with Amendment/Extension letters, provide assistance to Sales and Marketing Mangers and billers with invoice disputes.

This position will work closely with Sales and Marketing Managers, as well as Drilling Superintendents/Operations Managers.

Detailed Description:

• Communicate across companies as needed
• Review tours sheets daily and help resolve coding issues
• Provide assistance with invoice disputes and work with Operations to resolve.
• Create Contract Breakdown sheets for each rig
• Maintain contract filing in BOX system
• Provide accrual information on a monthly basis
• Assist Sales and Marketing group and Operations with billing related discrepancies prior to invoicing
• Coordinating within the Regions for ticketing optimization
• Record keeping of ticket usage for Customer Entertainment
• Event Planning for Customer Entertainment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include emails, memorandums as well as presentations in both one-on-one and group settings
• Strong organizational skills with time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to solve problems and create departmental efficiencies
• Broad base of knowledge and skills related to maintaining accounting records, specifically for accounts receivable
• Proficient in detailed data entry
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with challenges
• Ability to work under pressure
• Persistence in finishing projects in spite of hindrances
• Ability to adjust and adapt to changing schedules, individuals, and tasks
• Proficient in the use of computers and applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of billing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5+ years of general billing experience
• Experience with Oracle software

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment.
