Position Summary
Your overall knowledge and understanding of accounting principles coupled with your attention to detail and ability to thrive in a team environment will assist our organization in continuing to grow and expand. The primary purpose of the Candidate is to manage the day-to-day accounting for specific funds across both credit and secondary fund strategies as well as prepare financial reporting and work directly with Fund regulators.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Own and manage day-to-day accounting for specific funds across the credit and secondary funds strategies
· Manage the collection and retention of documentation related to investment activity
· Responsible for daily cash management and initiation of bank wires and transfers
· Manage communication with underlying fund managers as well as direct investment contacts through internal and external systems
· Maintain internal workpapers and schedules for quarterly financial reporting to fund level limited partners
· Perform quarterly fund financial reconciliations
· Own and manage the annual audit PBC workpapers and preparation of financial statements pertaining to designated funds
· Prepare investor communications, including quarterly fund update letters and financial statements
· Assist in identification of opportunities for control improvements and process efficiencies
· Maintain reports for weekly team meetings
· Participate in supporting the organization with knowledge of general accounting
Requirements and Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance
· CPA or CPA eligibility preferred, not required
· 1-3 years accounting experience in a combination of public accounting (either audit or tax), fund administration, or another private equity or investment management firm
· Strong accounting background, including booking journal entries, performing account reconciliation, performing account analysis and / or audit
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to learn and navigate new accounting systems (Allvue)
· Ability to interact with a variety of individuals (individuals across the organization, investors, consultants, regulators), along with the ability to work independently
Compensation
· Competitive base salary and bonus

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
