This position will be assigned to Fleet Management’s Parts & Supply section which is responsible to procure, warehouse, and distribute all parts/supplies needed for Fleet to meet our mission to repair and maintain Orange County’s 3,800+ vehicles and equipment assets. We are looking for candidates with experience in inventory management and warehouse operations, with the ability to follow established County procurement policies. We seek a candidate who is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, who have a desire to help our customer’s reach their goals.
Representative Duties
Orders parts, materials and supplies used in maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.
Verifies receipt of invoiced parts, materials and supplies.
Maybe required to utilize a purchasing card.
Maintains and tracts inventory records on computer to ensure all parts and supply transactions are properly documented.
Research technical information concerning parts and supplies.
Unloads, stores, transports, delivers, and distributes parts, materials and supplies.
Interacts with customers, vendors, and sales representatives. Follows up on items not received and checks on item prices and availability.
Maintains a clean and organized parts storage and work area.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and one year automotive/equipment parts or supply clerk/purchasing/inventory or other related experience.
May be required to possess and maintain the appropriate valid Florida Commercial DriverLicense for the type of equipment operated.
Forklift Certification required within six (6) months of employment.
Preferences
Current Florida Driver’s License
Commercial Automotive and/or Heavy Equipment Parts experience
ASE “P2” Parts Certification or equivalent

Educational Requirements
