FlowerHire Hiring for Human Resources Manager – Catonsville, MD at Catonsville, Maryland Full Time

One of our clients – a rising MSO with operations in 12 different states — is searching for an experienced HR Manager to oversee their Maryland operations and team, spanning across cultivation, processing, and retail facilities. This will be the state’s point person in regards to any HR-related functions, and will coordinate critical generalist HR responsibilities, such as onboarding, maintenance of employee records, employee relations, payroll, etc. If you’re excited about cannabis, know intimately what it takes to motivate and keep on top of a range of employees, and care about making a difference, let’s chat!

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and interview process
• Conduct employee onboarding
• Enroll employees into new benefits
• Visit and support personnel at locations across the state
• Provide a positive and professional HR experience to field employees and management
• Perform and run payroll on bi-weekly basis utilizing HR processes
• Process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and other status changes

Required Skills

• 3 – 5 years of experience in HR or related field
• Payroll administration experience
• Ability to travel 15-20% of the time
• Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
