An interesting opportunity for a Columbus, Ohio area HR professional ready to take on the senior HR role of a North American subsidiary of a European company.
Forsee Power is forming a North America (NA) leadership team to drive our North America expansion. We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead all HR activities across our North America operations, i.e. HQ, sales, engineering and plant operations. The position will be based in our renovated North American HQ in Hilliard, Ohio, on the west edge of Columbus.
This position’s mission is to contribute functional expertise in close collaboration with their leadership team colleagues to achieve Forsee Power North America’s overarching objectives.
The HR Manger’s responsibility includes duties customary to the role, such as:
+ Establish and maintain the NA human resource function
+ Establish and maintain HR processes, systems and tools
+ Build an effective team commensurate to our business growth
+ Define and execute a recruiting plan with functional leaders to create the NA organization
+ Foster a culture of learning and engagement
+ Work in concert with the plant manager and team to establish and maintain productive labor relations
+ Monitor labor market trends; develop and lead implementation of appropriate measures to maintain competitiveness and an inspired workforce
+ Manage employee benefits
+ Oversee payroll and a third-party administrator
+ With the aid of external resources and experts, ensure compliance with workers compensation, unemployment, FMLA, COBRA, etc.
+ Collaborate with functional managers for talent management and development
+ Collaborate with the Group HR team
+ Perform all duties in a manner consistent with Forsee Power’s Values and Code of Conduct
+ Serve as an inspiring leader across the entire organization

Strong candidate likely has:
+ 15+ years of relevant experience
+ Success in the manufacturing environment
+ Experience and knowledge of many HR disciplines
+ Does not require relocation
