The Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a People and Culture Coordinator who fully embodies our values, shares a passion for excellence, and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. As People and Culture Coordinator you will be accountable for shaping the employee experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. FSNYD is recognized as a Forbes 5 Star Hotel; Forbes 5 Star Spa and AAA 5 Diamond Hotel.
This position reports to the Assistant Director of People and Culture. Work authorization for the location is required.

BASIC PURPOSE:
The People and Culture Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the office’s various administrative duties. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating employee events and local employee benefit programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To provide support and clerical expertise to People and Culture Department and respond to inquiries in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum employee, applicant, or vendor satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. To coordinate all aspects of employees ie) new hires, job postings, payroll, applicant logs, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Previous Human Resources administrative experience is preferred. Candidates must be highly organized, skilled in all areas of communication, and must possess strong interpersonal abilities. A strong knowledge of computers is necessary, specifically in Microsoft Office. Second language is a plus. Prior New York City experience is preferred.
