What You’ll Do
The Recruiter is integral in the growth and development of our core team at Freethink. Our team is our biggest asset – and so our Recruiter’s primary role and focus will be to hire great candidates efficiently and effectively. The Recruiter will drive our hiring best practices to provide a high level of support to hiring managers throughout the full cycle of recruiting.
Talent Sourcing – Ensure we’re catching a wide, diverse net to attract the best possible candidates for each unique role.
Full-Cycle Recruiting & Talent Identification – In collaboration with our Recruiting Associate, post all open jobs, review applications pulling quality candidates for screening, schedule and conduct interviews, check references, drive decisions with hiring teams, and maintain communication with hiring managers.
Partner with Hiring Managers – Serve as an in-house recruiting expert, providing coaching on best practices & insights to help hiring managers make excellent hiring decisions.
Pipeline Management – Keep track of all talent pipelines to ensure candidates are getting appropriate, timely responses and hiring managers are getting strong candidates to consider; Manage and administer the Applicant Tracking System, training hiring managers on effective & efficient use of ATS.
Reporting & Process Improvements – Responsible for ensuring company is hitting all hiring metrics; Provide regular status updates to hiring managers, HR, and exec team, and continuously find ways to improve the process to create a better experience for all and to ensure Freethink continues to hire the best talent for each role.
What You’ll Need
Experience
4+ years of experience in a similar recruiting focused role
2+ years of experience administering an Application Tracking System
Experience internally recruiting creative roles
Experience recruiting in a media or creative company is a plus
Skills & Qualities
Good judgment with helping inform hiring decisions
Ability to build trusting relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Strong critical thinking, communications, organizational, and time management skills
Enjoys creating and running efficient & effective processes & systems in a fast-paced environment
High level of discretion
Positive, can-do attitude
This is a remote, work from home role. Our core teams in New York City, Los Angeles, and DC are joined by a growing network of directors, editors, composers, designers, journalists, developers and more all around the world.
