Responsibilities:
Recruitment and interview process of positions in multi-state
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.
Conducts 401K enrollment for new employees.
Verifies I-9 documentation and keeps up to date on I9 compliance.
Conducts audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends any corrective action.
Updates HRIS system with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
Processing of terminations.
Performance review preparation and issuing to employees/managers.
Assists HR Department with various research projects and/or special projects.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Director.
Schedule events/order supplies for activity committee.
Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files (paper and on the HRIS).
Prepares offer letters.
Prepares new employee files on HRIS and paper form as well.
May update company intranet and prepare new hire announcements, promotion announcements, baby announcements, wedding announcements, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Computer proficiency
Preferred knowledge with an HRIS or HRMS
Basic knowledge of employment laws
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable interacting with clients and internal staff alike
Associates degree in related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
One (1) year in related position, preferred
