We are looking for an ambitious Human Resource Generalist to join our growing People Team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will report into the HR Operations Manager and cover a broad range of HR tasks, like organizing performance review cycles, administering employee benefits and leaves and helping to craft HR policies. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.
Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming first introduction to the company through an unrivalled onboarding experience
Act as a trusted point of contact for employee support in various HR-related topics such as benefits, compensation, and policy queries and resolve any issues that may arise
Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management and performance review cycles organization
Responsible for ensuring correct employee records within our HRIS
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Adjudicate background checks and address employee eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Support HR Operations Management with projects and initiatives as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Three years plus human resource management experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS (ADP and HiBob) and talent management systems
Possess a passion for employee experience
Have a desire to work in a team with a results driven approach
