GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Manager supports the Supervisor with the daily administrative functions of Human Resources including recruitment, terminations, performance management, and employee relations while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management. This position also will also be responsible for assisting with Corporate Training initiatives, as well as providing support in other areas of operations as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College degree required

Experience:

• A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources preferred
• Strong background in recruitment and retention
• Background in administering employee training
• Training administration and presentation skills a plus
• Employee onboarding and general document administration

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must have the ability to build and manage HR Systems.
• Manage inquiries from applicants and employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate party
• Primarily responsible for proactive recruitment including the posting of job openings, reviewing resumes, obtaining professional references, and scheduling virtual and in-person interviews
• Build a robust candidate pipeline using various recruiting methods including online tools and networking opportunities
• Responsible for utilizing onboarding protocols to ensure that new employees have the appropriate equipment and systems access. Also responsible for immediately implementing protocols for the timely offboarding of terminated employees
• Conduct new employee orientation and ensure that each employee receives, understands, and acknowledges all GCHP’s policies and procedures
• Coordinate, review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, certifications, and other required credentials
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources and talent management
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
