SALARY INFORMATION: $35,000 Annual/Pay Grade F

Job Responsibilities

Under broad supervision, performs a variety of billing functions that includes the preparation and distribution of invoices, processing payments and payment approval. Analyzes billing data and prepares reports for revenue and expenditures. Manages encumbrances and reconciliation of invoices, purchase orders, and contracts. General clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED AND Three years of billing/bookkeeping experience, one year of which in a team lead/supervisory role OR One year of experience required at the lower-level Billing Clerk 2 (FIT031) or position equivalent.

Additional Information

In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with billing and fee collection experience in a medical or clinical setting, Medicaid billing and coding, and two (2) years of front office registration and Microsoft Office Suite experience.
