Job Summary:
Develops and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent across all levels of the organization. Responsible to source and promote the company’s brand through modern and innovative recruitment initiatives. Plays an active role in the new hire onboarding process and current employee satisfaction programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Ensures the staffing needs of the company are being met, using research and creativity to meet current needs, with a long-term approach in mind
· Devises sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential and future applicants
· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
· Provides oversight and guidance on the job posting and advertisement processes
· Tracks, measures, and reports on advertising campaign results
· Assists with screening applications
· Oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
· Assists with the interview process, scheduling, attending and conducting interviews
· Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, etc
· Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft descriptions and hiring criteria
· Serves as a company brand liaison at various events, such as career fairs, network/community events
· Stays informed of economic employment challenges and new trends in advertising
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
· Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field
· At least 2 years’ experience in recruitment, staffing, PR, or brand management
· Knowledge of recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and good negotiation tactics
· Experience with social media advertising platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook
· Candidate outreach/“headhunting” experience is strongly preferred
· Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and be creative
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS / applicant-tracking software systems
