HR Manager Duties/Responsibilities:
Manages key HR Operational Process (including policy changes, retention initiatives, employee engagement programs…etc.)
Oversee HR department and staff; work with HR team to streamline and update HR core processes
Develop training programs aimed at supporting management, soft skills, performance management, coaching conversations and company policy and procedure
Assist leadership with further developing a compensation strategy based on market research and pay survey data
Heavy employee relations management: Investigate and document employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution quickly.
Ensure the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Partner with leadership to enforce a dynamic employee engagement strategy
Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible.
Work as a collaborative member of the HR team across all business locations
Requirements
HR Manager Required Skills/Abilities:
Heavy employee relations experience; must have previous experience conducting investigations and handling unique situations
Previous experience in a hospital or residential setting is a plus, not required
Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
High ethical standards with demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
People-centric professional with excellent attention to detail.
Client service mindset with the desire to go above and beyond to support the team and organization.
HR Manager Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in in human resources or a related field and 10+ years of human resource experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
