We are seeking a STEM Program Administrative Coordinator to join our team. We are a technologically proficient society to meet the nation’s workforce needs through engaging outreach programs and support activities. This role may require travel to various locations within the state of New Jersey.
Job Description
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Picatinny (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Education Office and its objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative project support to the Picatinny Education Office.
Assisting in developing creative educational activities and supporting schools with student needs.
Coordinating with Army/DoD, local schools, and university programs.
Supporting STEM initiatives throughout New Jersey.
Planning and coordinating STEM activities, including purchasing support.
Organizing K-12 Plus events, scholastic competitions, and training workshops.
Identifying and procuring materials, equipment, and services needed for activities.
Managing stipends, awards, and certificates for event participants.
Assisting with promotional material procurement for events.
Providing logistical support for sponsored local events.
Developing plans, budgets, and schedules for various activities.
Offering relevant information and analysis for defense-related engagements.
Handling purchasing responsibilities and resolving shipment issues.
Preparing monthly reports summarizing all activities and purchases.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Valid driver’s license
2-3 years of relevant experience
Ability to travel throughout the state
U.S. Citizenship required
Must pass a Tier 1 Background Check
