As an Inventory Control and Logistics Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing inventory and coordinating logistics to ensure seamless global operations. If you’re proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an unwavering work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with third-party warehouse partners and our global logistics team for day-to-day inventory and logistics activities.
Explore and propose innovative transportation solutions, analyzing their financial impact on warehouse and shipping methods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, conducting regular reconciliations at assigned warehouses.
Be the go-to for documentation, ensuring everything is organized for smooth audits.
Conduct periodic inventory inspections and play a key role in evaluating new 3PL partners.
Drive performance evaluations of warehouses and carriers, aiming for the highest service standards.
Team up with cross-functional colleagues to integrate logistics across various business systems and processes.
Champion logistics policies and procedures, crafting models to evaluate program success.
Oversee auditing of freight invoices and customs entries for accuracy and compliance.
Tackle transportation and customer-related challenges with efficiency and finesse.
What You Bring
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Stellar interpersonal skills and a knack for customer service.
Impeccable organization and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Outstanding time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or at least 4 years of experience in global logistics, customer service, inventory control, or related areas.
Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Comfortable working at a desk and using a computer for extended periods.
