Role Overview
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will play a vital role in various HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits administration, leave management, and the enforcement of company policies. We are looking for an individual with proven expertise in HR, encompassing benefits administration, talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, and training.
Responsibilities
Recruitment: Collaborate with hiring managers and our recruiting team to understand departmental needs. Develop new-hire onboarding programs and deliver engaging orientations.
Education and Training: Ensure completion and documentation of mandatory training and continuing education. Stay informed about trends, best practices, and changes in HR, talent, and employment law.
Benefits: Assist employees with benefit programs and manage leave requests. Contribute to the annual Open Enrollment period, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws.
Employee Relations: Coordinate disciplinary discussions, terminations, and investigations. Provide guidance to the leadership team on sensitive matters, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum Of Three Years Of HR Experience.
Strong multitasking abilities and composure in emergencies.
Excellent conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.
Duties
Oversee the full hiring process, working with RPO Vendor, conducting onboarding, and assisting with processing in Paycor.
Knowledge of Government Contracting, including EEO, VETS 100, and AAP.
Conduct exit interviews and manage the off-boarding process.
Respond to employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR issues.
Advocate for HR policies, procedures, and programs to promote company culture and compliance.
Organize employee activities and contribute to HR process standardization and improvement.
Analyze HR metrics and recommend employee retention strategies.
Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Additional Skills
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with employees.
Professional performance at a high level with discretion and effective communication.
Serve as back-up for payroll/timecard processing when needed.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
