Human Resources Assistant Performance Standards:
Manage administrative tasks for the department.
Provide a positive role model for the Gibault clients and staff at all times through appearance, attitude, and behavior.
Attend all in-services, General Staff Meetings, and meetings assigned by your supervisor.
Work harmoniously and effectively with co-workers.
Accomplish objectives and consistently produce satisfactory work.
Is faithful in reporting to work, staying on the job, and helping to meet institutional emergencies.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Complete Human Resources related logging and tracking.
Schedule all internal Human Resources appointments using the shared calendar.
Manage and enforce the consistent application of Gibault’s employee attendance policies.
Serve as a back-up to the Payroll and Benefits Administrator, assisting with all payroll and benefit related functions.
Assist with Gibault’s employee recruitment and hiring process, including but not limited to: scheduling interview and new hire paperwork appointments, completing reference and background checks and assisting with hiring packets.
Assists with the completion and proper routing of all employee related forms, reference checks, criminal records checks, drivers checks, and other required personnel information.
Complete and document monthly audits of current personnel files.
Perform all additional duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required and specialized training in typing, computer applications, or other clerical training preferred.
Job requires writing skills sufficient to complete more difficult assignments, such as editing documents and materials for style and content, drafting substantive correspondence or reports, and organizing material into formats which ensure case of reading and understanding.
