Job Description:
We are looking for an entry-level/junior systems admin and full stack developer for our award-winning international online brands.
Company Mission:
We specialize in Online Marketing, Social Media Management, Video Production, and delivery of Online Content and Coaching services. We also run a number of live in-person events associated with our brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing IT support for our users, and internal staff
- Provides technical expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex problems and takes appropriate action to ensure maintenance of stated performance objectives to maximize system availability and minimize response time
- Implementing, testing and documenting system configurations to optimize operations and security
- Including tasks such as process automation, backup, application deployment and configuration, security hardening, patch management, continuous monitoring, access control, and performance tuning
- Maintain data backup operation of on and off-site locations
- Develop and create documentation that includes conceptual descriptions, task-based procedures, configurations, installations, and reference information
- Contingency and disaster recovery planning and testing
- Automating repetitive tasks
- Manage access control to IT systems
- Coordinates disk space planning and management
- Supports media management through development of internal methods and procedures and use of offsite storage and retrieval services.
- Maintain and backup/recovery of a version control repository
- Monitoring IT system resources
- Provisioning and maintaining web servers and databases
- Deployment of proprietary software on staging and production servers
- Databases maintenance, backup, restore, and performance monitoring
- Recognizing security incidents and perform incident handling procedures
- Alert management to emerging trends in incidents
- Design, development, deployment, and support of new and existing applications.
- Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle as needed, applying knowledge of system interaction and business familiarity to meet business needs and responsibilities
- A well-organized team-player who thrives when juggling multiple projects and aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to provide design of a complex projects and create application design documents
- Coordinate with clients and management in developing and enhancing proprietary software required for varying levels of application.
- Design and develop applications as part of team
- Track time and projects through Asana.com and Monday.com
- Troubleshooting/problem resolution skills
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Documentation for programming work performed uploaded to Github

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in computer science related discipline or +4 years of equivalent experience
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. permanent resident or citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
- API Development and Integration
- Alpha Anywhere (not required but will need to be willing to learn)
- Experience in the following areas:
- Providing IT support to end users in a Windows and Linux environment
- Proficient with Linux and Windows server administration
- Automation of repetitive tasks by scripting solutions
- Apache, Nginx, and Tomcat web server administration
- Implementing and maintaining IT security controls and endpoint protection systems
- Data and image backup/recovery services
- Configuring physical and virtual security appliances, firewalls, and switches
- ISO 27000 and/or NIST information security compliance
