We are an exciting restaurant company looking for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Manager that can work in a Hybrid role for our company with corporate offices in Golden, Colorado.
Payroll and Benefits Manager Duties:
- Responsible for ensuring payroll is completed for our restaurants according to our weekly process
- Payroll processing, from time capture through payment
- Payroll changes for Home Office Employees, including new hires, terminations, and pay increases
- Provide support to employees who need assistance or have issues with payroll-related functions, including Lost / missing checks, Incorrect pay, PTO accruals, W-2 services, Access to and use of manager self-service, and employee self-service portals
- Benchmark plans against industry standards, identify gaps, and propose recommendations to executives Company s plans
- Maintain Company s competitive position in the labor market
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Review benefits claims
Payroll and Benefits Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of payroll and benefits management
- Working knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Explorer); additional system knowledge is a plus
- In-depth understanding of payroll procedures, laws (local, state, and federal), taxes (local, state, and federal), and best practices
- In-depth understanding of benefit laws, regulations, and best practices
