What we are looking for:
Grammer is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our location in Fayetteville, TN. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in Fayetteville and beyond.
What you will be doing:
The HR Generalist partners with managers and employees at various levels to provide human resources support and solutions in a manufacturing setting. This role will report to the HR Manager in the plant.
· Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations
· Attracts, recruits and closes salary and hourly candidates to join the Grammer team
· Facilitates or provides training to the workforce
· Facilitates onboarding activities including orientation, tours and check-ins
· Acts as an employee relations specialist assisting in investigation and resolution of employee issues
· Provides communication of benefit programs and drives resolution of issues related to employee concerns regarding payroll, benefits and other employee programs
· Maintains employee data in various systems and tools
· Actively participates in plant teams/committees and assumes leadership role in HR related issues
· Partners with Corporate HR on employee engagement and wellness initiatives
· Promotes and reinforces the Grammer Way of Working culture
· Performs monthly attendance and attrition reporting for the facility, issuing any corrective action requirements
What you will bring along:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration.
· A minimum of 3+ years HR Generalist experience.
· Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to HR management.
· Strong employee relations experience.
· Excellent communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to successfully complete projects and initiatives in required time frames.
· Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
· Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as well as being an effective team player.
· Detail-oriented with demonstrated project management and strong analytical skills.
· Familiarity with timekeeping and attendance systems;
· Strong PC knowledge and skills: Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
