Duties and Responsibilities
This position supports faculty with applying accessible and inclusive design principles and technology-enhanced course components
to create effective and engaging learning environments.

• Assist faculty in course design and course material development for all
  delivery modes.
• Assist faculty and departments in selecting and implementing instructional technology to enhance the learning
  experience.
• Guide faculty on meeting accessibility and ADA requirements in course design and materials.
• Collaborate with other campus stakeholders to identify solutions to improve instructional practice.
• Assist with new faculty
  (adjunct & full-time) onboarding and orientation.
• Serve as a resource and internal consultant to faculty and staff to select
  and use emerging instructional technologies

Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge &
Skills

• Master’s Degree in instructional or educational technology, education or a related field required;
• Experience working with educators using a variety of approaches to teaching and learning in various curricular areas.
• Experience designing instruction for online learning environments.
• Experience producing effective instructional materials and
  technologies to support teaching and learning based on user needs.
• Demonstrated familiarity with applying accessible technology
  guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience working with people of varied technological skills and professional backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience using a course/learning management system.

Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

• D2L Brightspace
  experience preferred;
• Demonstrated experience working with people of varied technological skills and professional backgrounds
• preferred;
• Experience working with educators using a variety of approaches to teaching and learning and in a variety of
  curricular areas preferred;
• Two or more years of professional teaching experience preferred; and
• Advanced skill in using a
  learning management system preferred.
