To provide day to day support to Operations on the development, interpretation, and administration of Company policies and the union contract. Responsible for managing a range of activities related to employee/labor relations and staffing functions.
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:
* Manage relations between Labor and Management to maximize productivity and quality.
* Perform recruitment activities specific to Business Unit / Location.
* Completes department monthly, quarterly, and annual company reporting.
* Develops, coordinates, and tracks training for exempt and non-exempt staff.
* Supports HR shared services functions (Payroll, Benefits, Comp, OM, HRIS, Talent Recruitment, and Training Development)
* Manages relocation, immigration and other responsibilities related to staffing administration
PROFILE:
Education
* Requires BS in Industrial Relations (IR) or related
* Masters in IR preferred
Knowledge
* Personnel and Human Resources, Administration and Management, English Language, Customer and Personal Service, Law and Government, Psychology, Education and Training, Mathematics
Skills & Abilities
