Responsibilities
Our Cybersecurity consultants are a team of business integrators with extensive consulting and industry experience who help our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy through execution. The Managing Consultant – Engineer and Operations Lead will help guide our clients in improving processes, products, services, and software.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the deployment and sustainment of enterprise credentialing system; coordinate with program manager and support team to support the inclusion of necessary milestones for technical interconnections and system preparation for upgrades (such as testing)
- Drive the planning and execution of staff activity with the program manager and federal clients, identifying appropriate personnel assignments to support execution of those activities in line with the program master schedule
- Lead requirements identification, solution architecture, and configuration for projects providing integration of additional enterprise systems with the enterprise credentialing system
- Apply a variety of management, conflict resolution and risk mitigation techniques to resolve implementation, deployment, and transition issues for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze and remediate issues related to the identity lifecycle, system integration, access control/authentication and authorization.
- Maintain and update technical documentation such as training modules, security plans, and standard operating procedures to align with system’s current operational specifications.
- Develop, upgrade, administer and perform maintenance on the PIV infrastructure and back-up infrastructure (databases, firewalls, hardware security modules)
- Test, evaluate, integrate, deploy, and support infrastructure components that support or utilize PIV, PKI, biometrics
- Support security patching and troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 8 years of experience
- Minimum Clearance: Top Secret
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s
- Experience with critical Federal mandates, such as: Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD 12), FIPS 140-2, FIPS 201-2, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM), Executive Orders related to cybersecurity, and guidance from OMB and NIST
- Have experience in HSPD-12 / PIV system business processes as well as engineering and design
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and deployment of IAM systems
- Have led elements of enterprise service modernization or migration
- Ability to communicate technical information to a variety of technical and functional stakeholders.
- Experience managing teams supporting multiple business and technical elements of system operation and expansion.
- Technical experience with data management and migration, infrastructure architecture and management, and integration with other enterprise services, especially password management, directory management and synchronizing, and user provisioning.
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
- Experience with serving Federal clients onsite
Preferred:
- Experience leading or supporting projects related to PIV Credentialing Systems, IAM Architecture, Privilege Access Management, Identity Management, and other IAM solutions
- Experience developing and providing training related to credentialing systems and processes
- Knowledge of physical and logical access control principles
- Working knowledge of Certification Authorities, Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), and Server-based Certificate Validation Protocol (SCVP)
- Certified Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or Certified Smart Card Industry Professional/Government (CSCIP/G)
