Diesel Mechanic Technician

Gully Transportation is currently looking for Diesel Mechanic Technicians to work in our Quincy, IL location. Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual.

This position is responsible for:

• Performing routine maintenance on equipment
• Inspecting equipment for faulty parts
• Analyzing and diagnosing mechanical issues
• Creating a plan of action of all repairs
• Following checklist and protocols while conducting repairs
• Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Ensuring a safe & organized work space
• Input, track and maintain all maintenance data records
• Keeping equipment in good working order
• Tracking inventory when required
• Supporting co-workers and be a good team player
• Following all health and safety laws and guidelines, as well as common sense safety practices

Requirements and qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to pass a drug screen
• Proven mechanical acuity
• Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools, services and diagnostic equipment
• Attention to detail
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess basic tools or ability to acquire them
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and some weekends

Pay is based off of experience.
