Your Responsibilities//

Ensures effective leadership and communication throughout the property.
Manages and develops direct reports towards individual growth and quality standards of excellence.
Promote a positive and safe atmosphere that makes all team members feel comfortable.
Support day to day process in Human Resources and assist the Director of Human Resources in implementing hotel strategy, including but not limited to, coaching and counseling, recruitment, investigations, engagement, training, on-boarding, benefits and hiring/retaining quality employees.
Assist in reward and recognition programs and training strategies.
Oversee all employee relations matters as they relate to Federal, State and local employment and civil rights laws, including, but not limited to, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, workers’ compensation; submitting data to NYSIF, C240 and C11 reports and comparable state and local laws, and general human and civil rights.
Manage termination process including any needed termination forms and conducting exit interviews.
J1 and H2B visa: recruitment and selection, job offers, petition filing, coordinating arrivals and departures, transportation reimbursement, attorney fees.?
Administer insurance benefits, including COBRA and unemployment, explain benefits and answer questions, assist with completion of enrollment forms.?
Be knowledgeable about available employee benefits and answer questions regarding vacation and benefits (insured and noninsured).
Manage Workforce (HRIS)processes and reporting.?
Prepare and place recruitment advertising and conduct prescreening interviews.
Ensure compliance with all HR and related operating procedures.
Plan, organize, and control employee related activities.?
Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures.??
Staff Housing:? room allocations, dormitory contracts, violations, transfers, check outs, maintenance and security issues.?
Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars.?
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Be actively involved and visibly present in the daily operation for not only our guests, but also your associates.
Responsible for maintaining a Safe & Comfortable work environment for all team members. Ensure all health and safety protocols are implemented and maintained. Guarantee any health procedures are executed as needed.
