We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and possess excellent analytical and organizational skills. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The focus of this position is to assist the VP of Finance with Accounting functions.
Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to the following)

- Accounts Payable
- Enter AP vouchers for 3 companies
- Maintain vendor details in ERP system
- Handle AP payment inquiries from vendors

- Accounts Receivable
- Apply cash daily for 3 companies
- Remote deposits
- AR collection calls

- Production Jobs/Inventory
- Close production jobs in ERP system
- Assist with inventory management as needed

- Other
- RMA credit processing
- Misc. invoice & credit memo processing
- Daily labor postings
- Assist with annual financial audit
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Accounting (preferred but not required)
- Microsoft Office experience
- Attention to detail a must
- Good communication skills
