Harris Computer Systems Hiring for HR Advisor at Remote Full Time

We are growing and looking for a Human Resources Advisor (HRA) who can effectively formulate partnerships across all Human Resource functions to guide and deliver effective workflow processes and resources to support HR Business Partners, leadership, staff and the HR team with business objectives alignment to achieve organizational targets. This is a remote position working from a home office with occasional travel and reporting to a HR Business Partner.
What is your impact?

• Provide HR services and support to assigned Business Units across several verticals: Utilities, Healthcare and/or Public Sector Group. (Total HR team supports 3500+ EEs, multiple locations)

• Partner with HRBPs to provide strategic alignment supporting businesses reaching their targets and establishing business ROI, as it relates, but not limited to Performance Management, Employee Engagement/Relations, Workforce Planning, Forecasting, Talent Management and other HR business related initiatives.

• Execute HR Merger & Acquisition (M&A) action items to successfully deliver desired results of the leadership and employee experience.

• Provide HR consulting of best practices along with tactical due diligence to a smaller BU portfolio driving business efficiency and success.

• Partner with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, other members of leadership to outline the organization’s HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and boost performance.

• Deliver consulting level partnership to leadership, effectively resolving employee relations, to include promotions, transfers, demotions, coaching, terminations, and conflict resolution.

• Advise employees, supervisors or management regarding confidential or private personnel issues or interpersonal problems; administer disciplinary procedures as needed.

• Responsible for developing and/or conducting internal training sessions that promote employee/ management development, including performance reviews, talent reviews, safety and wellness.

• Proactively plan and assist with administrating the performance review process to complete most effectively driving our performance culture as well as measuring and reporting percentage completion

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other related business majors, plus a minimum of 3 years progressive related HR experience, ideally in an HRBP role supporting a US and Canadian employee base OR five plus years equivalent work experience. MBA preferred but not required.

• Process analysis – successfully examining and analyzing internal processes are essential to identify what is working within an organization’s HR structure and which areas need improvement

• Extensive experience in human resources management, including employee evaluations, engagement, performance, workforce planning, forecasting HR related business components, and conflict resolution

• Team coordination –effectively communicate with leadership, staff, HR co-workers to build effective rapport, proactively share knowledge/best practices to contribute effectively to a cross-functional team

• Communication and presentation skills – effective communication is key as the HRA delivers new initiatives and training materials across all levels of an organization

• Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, ever changing and complex environment

• Relationship Building – proven experience and ability to build effective relationships within all levels of an organization

What we would love to see:

• Human Resources Certified (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)

• Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions is a definite asset

• HRIS Systems experience – preferably Workday

• Ability to balance both tactical (operational) and strategic accountabilities

• Experience and comfort working with a remote workforce
