PHARMACY ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE*
GENERAL SUMMARY*: We are a Specialty Pharmacy seeking a Pharmacy Account Representative with the ability to represent our company and themselves professionally. Ideally this person will also possess excellent communication skills; reading and writing as well as the ability to speak clearly and be sympathetic toward client’s needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual who enjoys a fast-pace environment. Previous experience in pharmacy setting not required.Adheres to and exhibits our core values:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Data Entry – Enter prescriptions in Access Database as ordered by the physician.
• Review prescriptions to make sure they are valid and complete

• Request demographics and allergies for new patients.

• Print with labels.

• Schedule ship dates on orders based on appointment dates.

• Track packages.

• Prepare the Daily Report
• Print Daily Report

• Collects invoices from Reps

• Arrange them by clinic number and verifies the amount

• Submit the Report to Nadia before 10am.

• Scanning and Filing Prescriptions –

• Scan prescriptions and type in their prescription numbers

• Arrange prescriptions in alphabetical order by physician last names

• Separate Controlled Substances and Regular Rx’s. Control III, IV and V are separated from Control II

• Invoicing
• Review prices

• Print invoices

• Print Fedex or GLS

• Attach packing inserts

• Answering phone calls and email, responding to customer questions and complaints.

• Request for hard copy prescriptions owed by a Physician via email or phone call.

• Inspection and Final Shipment
• Invoices and labels from the Pharmacy Reps are to be reviewed for accuracy – pricing and shipping address.

• Collect bins with syringes from pass through window

• Review syringes against the invoice – patient name, strength and volume.

• Check for air bubble.

• Make sure number of syringes matches with the invoice.

• Any errors should be reported to Reps assigned to the account.

• Medication should always be packaged exactly as you were trained to do so by your manager and Hartley protocol.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Pharmacy Technician License (preferred)

• At Least two years medical/hospital/pharmacy experience (preferred)

• Type at least 45WPM

• Microsoft Software Knowledge

Hours of Operation:
9am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Expected to work overtime and weekends based on business necessity. Must be able to work when required.This is a Temp to Hire position, if position is accepted you will be directed to our contracted agency to fulfill the background and drug testing requirements prior to start date.Salary:
