Prepares breakfast and lunch daily for 25-40 guests and staff 6 days a week with assistance from the 1st Cook and prepares all three meals on 1st Cook’s day off. May need to assist 1st Cook with some baking. Flexibility is important. Second cook position works under direction from First Cook. Cooking experience is needed to provide tasty and hearty ranch cuisine that is pleasing to the eye and can accommodate restrictive diets. Must be hard working, have a clean appearance, and a willingness to work with others. In preparation for guest arrival on Sunday does some maintenance housekeeping in the main lodge area. Must be willing to help out where needed beyond main job description. Appreciation of the great outdoors would also be an asset as you are in the middle of Montana’s scenic wilderness. Good time management is key, as is a good attitude, creativity, organization, and a love of cooking.
Pay includes wages (amount depends on experience), and room and board are provided on top of your pay as extra (no charge to you). Cooks are also included in the gratuity pool. Last year each staff grossed over $7,000 in gratuity just to give you an idea
