Effective December 31, 2023, there will be a general salary adjustment of 2.5% to the minimum and maximum of the range.

Location and hours:
This position is in the 701 Building located at 701 South 4th Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The primary work schedule is variable 10-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday between the hours of 4 p.m. and 2 a.m. but can include occasional overtime and holidays. Based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office serves the county’s 1.2 million residents. State law mandates most of the sheriff’s office duties, including managing the county jail, providing security to the district court, and patrolling the waterways in the county.
