Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic and tactical HR consultation to optimize organization capabilities, engagement, and operations required for targeted growth and sustainable business outcomes. It will execute organization and market-specific HR strategies, processes, and ad hoc priorities focused on employee engagement, talent acquisition and management, onboarding, and workforce planning. It will also equip management with the data, resources, and tools to drive change and quality people and business decisions and practices. Overall, this role will contribute as a key partner, employee advocate, and HR team member committed to strengthen the organization s values-driven culture and reputation as a great place to work.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Assimilation. Lead the talent acquisition process and priorities for the organization inclusive of job and compensation analysis, hiring manager training and collaboration, and sourcing and selection strategy implementation to procure required talent. Manage a comprehensive onboarding process to effectively engage and assimilate new hires consisting of administrative, compliance, development, and culture integration activities.
Talent Management. Manage the performance management process inclusive of consultation, coaching, communication, and compliance activities. Facilitate workforce planning process with management to optimize talent, identify talent needs, and make quality, data-driven people decisions across the organization (e.g., merit, promotion, PIP). Lead learning and development efforts in collaboration with internal experts and vendors to drive targeted individual, leadership, and team growth. Implement recognition practices and programs that fuel engagement and differentiate performance.
Organization Effectiveness and Evolution. Maintain and integrate organization structure that aligns with the organization mission and growth strategy. Implement evaluation strategy to monitor and elevate the employee experience and value proposition. Lead special programs to strengthen the organization culture, engagement, and outcomes (e.g., hybrid work, DEI). Collaborate with marketing and management to implement effective communication and change management strategies.
Operations Management. Collaborate on special projects and ad hoc efforts that align with department and organization priorities and budget. Partner with colleagues across the organization to coordinate work, implement and improve HR/core process, and maintain required alignment and integration. Facilitate, resolve, and advise on employee related issues and inquiries in compliance with related policy and legal requirements. Apply HR and organizational trends and data to identify opportunities that inform decisions and improve department value.
Qualifications – Required Education, Experience, and Qualities
Bachelor s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development (OD), or Human Resource-related field
5+ years experience working in Human Resources and/or work in OD consulting role with exposure to facets across the employee life cycle
Possess working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and practices, and employment-related compliance (EEO, ADA, etc.)
Proven track record executing strategic priorities, analyzing data, and consulting on people-related issues
Experience as a facilitator across various audiences and situations – change, learning, and meetings
Proficient and effective communicator (written and verbal) across various audiences and situations
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
Strong business acumen with a strategic, agile, and consultative mindset
Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously in an organized, creative, and quality-driven way
Conscientious and flexible, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving and team orientation
