JOB OVERVIEW:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for day-to-day transactional administration, reporting and support on policies and processes covering several or all of the following: recruiting, onboarding, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in providing effective and timely support to Team Schein Members (“TSMs”) and Human Resources Business Partners (“HRBPs”) on Human Resources (“HR”) administrative matters in areas including performance management, employee relations and work force planning.
- Provide day-to-day support to TSMs on basic HR questions.
- Support the recruiting process for open positions.
- Help to facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
- Create and maintain TSM files to ensure compliance with OFCCP guidelines.
- Maintain record keeping, templates for letters and HR reports.
- Posting labor law posters in each facility, as needed.
- Support TSMs with Workday updates and coordination with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) as appropriate.
- Support HRBPs with TSM status letters pertaining to job changes, promotions, compensation adjustments and relocation.
- Generate reports and follow up on pending Workday actions.
- Coordinate the TSM exit process.
- Coordinate Company Wellness initiatives, Community Service activities and other site events.
- Provide Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Leave of Absence (LOA) counseling to TSMs.
- Coordinate FMLA and LOA actions with Leave Partners as appropriate.
- Support TSM safety and OSHA compliance reporting activities, where applicable.
- Supporting roundtable processes.
- Support HRBPs with outreach and follow up with the TSMs, as needed.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Familiar with HRIS systems, such as Workday, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
- Discretion in working with highly confidential and/or sensitive data
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically, 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline
- Possessing or pursuing a professional HR Certification (such as the PHR) is preferred.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Travel typically less than 10%.
- Office environment.
- No special physical demands required.
