QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree and three (3) years of Human Resources experience
Seven (7) years of experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experience
HRCI/SHRM Certification
Professional interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships
Knowledge of State and Federal Laws governing Human Resource Policy and Procedure
High level of integrity and confidentiality
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serve as a positive representation of Heritage Cooperative s Core Values
Under the direction of the VPHR, develop and administer various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel
Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems with the VPHR, and recommends necessary changes
Create and rewrite job descriptions as necessary
Monitor performance evaluation program
Lead recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, interns, and seasonal employees; manage new employee orientation
Manage employee relations investigations and counseling, and exit interviews
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
Process and maintains all unemployment claims; completes requests for information, and submits appeals
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned
