ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job.

• Maintain and monitor expense data base for relevant costing information.

• Determining fixed costs, plan and record variable costs (to include purchases of raw materials and operations costs).

• Assist in the period-end close process.

• Report company sales, production, inventory metric data on a weekly basis.

• Analyze and review standard and actual costs for variances and report variances to management for decision making purposes.

• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.

• Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability.

• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.

• Analyze variances on a monthly basis.

• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs.

• Perform ad-hoc reporting for management and staff as required.

• Perform daily processing of manufactured goods’ service fees, and monthly manufactured goods reporting.

• Assist with audit preparation, such as creating audit work-papers and retrieving data as requested.

• Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.

• Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

An individual qualified for this job must be able to:

• Operate a computer – PC proficiency; use Microsoft products to efficiently perform required tasks.

• Understanding of relational databases and the ability to query various data via various business analytic tools.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business required; Accounting degree preferred.

• At least 3-5 year’s related work experience required.
