Job Summary:
The role of HR/Recruiting Manager – requires skills in supervisory, multitasking, organizational, letter writing and prioritizing. The role of Recruiting Supervisor is to monitor the schedule of department personnel, lead through delegation and guide improvements to the recruiting process, orientation of drivers and support personnel for HTI. This includes ensuring department reports and expenditures are monitored and shared timely. The additional role of HR/Recruiting to support the department managers and duties of these departments respectably with clerical, philosophy and duties while performing this role. Confidential information is exposed to this role and should always be treated with highest integrity.
Duties:
Monitor and record HR/Recruiting Department attendance and schedule daily.
Improve Recruiting process and procedures through delegation and mentoring of staff.
Develop team philosophy and environment within department to improve strength and production through guidance and mentoring.
Improve Orientation process and procedures through delegation and mentoring of staff.
Improve confidence level of Recruiting to other departments be instilling professional ethics and integrity into daily operations.
Maintain adequate records to meet regulations and ensure compliance of applicable laws governing employees and benefits through leadership.
Maintain quality of education through seminars to ensure knowledge and compliance of Federal, State and local laws concerning OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, etc… in regards to employer-employee requirements.
Work directly with department managers to ensure knowledge and compliance in regards to WC, FMLA, EEOC, ADA, etc…
Ensure personnel files accurately and efficiently maintained.
Maintain adequate records of WC accident/incidents to enhance resolution and compliance of issues affiliated with insurance, training, orientation, remedial training, cost, bonuses, etc… as directed by management.
Manage RDT program to ensure timely communication and compliance.
Manage as needed in pre-employment testing.
Manage communication and records of driver expirations timely to minimize impact to employee payroll and equipment utilization.
Ensure compliance of all HTI policies documented in HTI Handbook.
Ensure DOT compliance of documents for pre-employment and completion accurately in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance and ensure adhere to all DOT regulations regarding driver qualifications and investigations.
Perform and other duties as directed by management.
