Human Resources Business Partner
I am working with a growing manufacturing group that is seeking a multi-site HR Business Partner. This person will have oversight of 4 locations from NY to MA that range in size from 30-180 employees in each site. The company has seen tremendous growth over the past 2 years and is continuing to expand. Ideally, this person will grow into a Director level position.
Job Purpose and Requirements
The HR Business Partner role contributes to the company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives. Performs HR-related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group and site. Will obtain full visibility and involvement in the organization and interact directly with people at all levels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and confidante to business unit leaders; coaching and consulting with management teams on all people-related issues.
- Partners with business units in executing processes such as annual compensation, performance management, succession management, and action planning.
- Provide input on workforce and succession planning as well as plans business unit restructuring.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
- Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions; programs and policies.
- People-focused; will obtain full visibility and involvement in the organization.
- Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and bonus awards; benefits enrollment; etc.
- Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions and support.
- Collaborates with President, Engineered Products Business Unit.
- All other duties assigned.
- Travel as needed between sites.

Qualifications
Required Experience
- Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practices of HR including employment law and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of all HR aspects; learning & development, reward, compensation, benefits, payroll, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Able to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
