HME Billing and Consulting Hiring for Biller- Workers Compensation Job at Remote Full Time

We are looking for a REMOTE medical biller who is experienced with Worker’s Compensation. You should understand how to file claims, resolve and collect third-party receivables, and denials.

Primary job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Track and resolve outstanding denials and payment issues, including making daily calls and researching account issues.
• Appropriately document all correspondence with clients and third-party insurances including worker’s compensation.
• File appeals and complete all steps to resolve denials, and complete associated paperwork.
• Review EOBs – issue appeals / submit corrected claims.
• Obtain authorizations
• Effectively navigate billing client’s EMR system to pull notes, medical records, and other information to send as requested by outside parties.
• Correspond consistently and professionally with billing clients to request medical records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $17.50 per hour
