Home Medical Equipment (HME) Company Hiring for DME Poster/Billing Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

This position requires five or more years experience in DME and healthcare billing. Prefer good understanding of RESPIRATORY DME products and supplies. Multi-task oriented with SOLID computer/technical skills. Must have a drive for excellence in customer service and enjoy working as part of a team. Brightree software knowledge is a requirement. Posting experiance is preferred.

General:

1. Effectively interacts with co-workers, customers, and insurance companies.

2. Handles billing correspondence, processes and applied payments to accounts in Brightree and Brightree patient collections.

3. Is knowledgeable about regulation and administrative policy regarding billing protocols and adheres to all policy and procedure including state and federal guidelines.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Answer patient’s questions and concerns while providing quality customer service.
• Creates Deposits and applies correctly to accounts, pulls EOB’s and process payments on accounts.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with insurance carriers, ie Medicare, HMOs etc.
• Outside of posting will have other job duties when posting is caught up, including but not limited to stop/hold reports, working recert patients, MPO, denials and outstanding AR.

Required experience: DME Medical Billing 5 years BRIGHTREE software experience REQUIRED

• Minimum 2 years Oxygen Billing Preferred

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
