HR Coordinator
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position which will require 40 hours a week
Summary/Objective: The HR Coordinator will be responsible for all post-offer tasks for new employees.
Essential Functions:

1. Follows up with candidates throughout their post-offer transition period and ensures all new hire requirements are completed before their start date.
2. Sits at the reception desk and provides general support to visitors.
3. Responsible for ensuring the supply rooms are organized and well stocked.
4. Ensures security, integrity and confidentiality of data.
5. Actively participates in the planning and execution of company events.
6. Takes ownership of the kitchen clean-up schedule and oversees that the office and conference rooms are presentable.
7. Launches background checks, MVR, I9 verification, and drug screens.
8. Ushers the candidate through the recruitment process and keeps the recruiters and hiring managers updated along the way.
9. Opens IT Tickets for all new hires and ensure the hiring manager communicates the equipment needs to the IT department.
10. Maintains detailed tracking of candidates who are onboarded. Including registration on the Paychex portal, benefit enrollment, and additional required follow-up.
11. Maintains Personnel Files and I-9 documentation.
12. Builds structure around the onboarding process.
13. Automates and/or uses our current technology to make onboarding more streamlined.

Education or License Requirements:
1. High School or Junior College
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment:
The work is completed in an open work environment which might be noisy at times.
Physical Demands:
This is a sedentary job which requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, talking on a phone and looking at a computer screen. The job may at times require lifting boxes up to 20 pounds.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
